I manage over 100 quality rings on the Webring.com system (and the "One World Ring" on Ringsurf.com). When you join one of my rings you will receive an email confirming your membership request and inviting you to join any of my other rings that are appropriate to the theme of your site.
For information in general on Webrings, lists of other managers and their rings, and help and resource links, please visit Webring Central.
I look forward to having you as a member of my rings!
Absolutely no marketing/money-making/freebie stuff/get-rich-quick/MLM
type sites will be approved for membership in ANY of my rings!
THE LIST OF RINGS I MANAGE IS AVAILABLE
IN THE FOLLOWING FORMATS:
I hate to play the "Ring Nazi," but a few simple rules help me run my rings in a smooth manner and apply to all those who wish to join. By applying to join, you signify that you agree to them:
1.
You must have the System Javascript Code ("SSNB") on your site. If it is not present on your site, your application will not be approved.
2.
I prefer that you do not use the HTML code. From time to time I update the code which is then automatically updated by use of the System Javascript Code. I plan on having a unique and attention-getting navigation bar for each ring I manage, as time permits me to create them. At my discretion, I will make an exception on a case-by-case basis.
3.
If you have music on the page on which the navbar resides, there MUST be a way for surfers to TURN OFF THE MUSIC!!!. If I can't turn off the music on your page when I visit it to check it for acceptance into the ring, your application will be denied.
4.
There MUST be a link to the rest of your site on the page on which the navbar resides. Surfers must be able to gain easy access to the other pages on your site. "Dead End" pages will not be approved for membership in any of my rings.
5.
From time to time I may need to contact you regarding webring business, however I will never send any frivilous spam-type emails. Your contact email must be up-to-date at all times. If email sent to you bounces, your site will be suspended. If it continues to bounce after 7 days your site will be deleted.
6.
If you move the webring's location to a new page on your site, you MUST edit your site information to reflect the new address.
7.
Your site must meet the ring description in order to be approved for membership. In addition, no sites promoting hatred, racism, cruelty, or otherwise offensive material will be accepted.
Absolutely no marketing/money-making/freebie stuff/get-rich-quick/MLM
type sites will be approved for membership in ANY of my rings.
8.
If your site has been denied membership or deleted and you feel an error has been made, please contact me and explain. I'm always happy to correct my mistakes.
9.
Many of my rings require that member sites be "family-safe" - safe for viewing by surfers of all ages. For those rings that do not specifically state this restriction, the guidelines might be more lenient regarding content. However, the final decision as to the acceptability of individual web sites for membership in any ring remains with me and is non-negotiable. (Please refer to Rule #7.)
Not too bad, eh? Most of it is just pure common sense, you know? Anyway, if you have any questions or need any help regarding webrings, please don't hesitate to contact me.
